Mission Statement
The mission of the Dearborn Area Board of Realtors is to be a unified community of real estate professionals created to support, educate and promote members; to inspire leadership and enhance professionalism; to maintain the highest standards and integrity through the enforcement of the Realtor Code of Ethics; to promote Realtors as knowledgeable and essential to the real estate transaction; and to advocate on behalf of homeownership and the interests of private property owners.
Association Objectives
The objectives of the Association are:
- Objective 1 - To expand the educational opportunities for the REALTOR® members, affiliates and members of the public by providing advanced designation courses, seminars and informational workshops.
- Objective 2 - To provide our REALTOR® members with business meetings that address the issues that are facing their businesses, to increase Broker programs to determine needs and developing those programs to address those needs.
- Objective 3 - To improve communications between our members by expanding all possible communication lines, i.e. website, E-News newsletter, E-commerce, and appointing liaisons for each office to convey Association information to offices.
- Objective 4 - To promote and maintain high stands of conduct in the real estate profession as expressed in the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® by developing a curriculum addressing information needed for new agents.
- Objective 5 - To employ a combination of committees and task forces to appeal to a broader range of members organized to enhance program development and participation of the members of the association.
- Objective 6 - To create programs for the benefit of the public to educate information on the importance of using a REALTOR®, provide accurate information on purchase and sale of property, the value of investing in real estate, and to further the interest of home and other real property ownership.
- Objective 7 - To increase members' use of new technology tools and educate them on new and developing technology for their businesses.
- Objective 8 - To educate and develop programs to help REALTORS® members on the benefit of RPAC contributions and the use of RPAC funds.
